at approximately 4.3 km per year in the period 1982-2004.
The map shows increase in NPP 1982-2004, and
also the isoline for NPP = 72 in 1984 and 1994.
The total area which has expereicend increases in NPP
1982 to 2004 equals around 1.6 million km2 in
Mauritania, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger.
